One Minute Candy "Bar"

I never have candy in the house.  If I do fall into the temptation of purchasing some, it barely lasts a day.  I'm weak.  I admit it.

But, even with no candy in the house, I do still have those occasional cravings for a Hershey's Chocolate bar.  I have found a solution that fills that sweet tooth, only takes a minute to whip up and contains no preservatives.  Granted, it is more of a cream than a bar, but it will taste just like a Hershey's!

One Minute Candy "Bar"
  • 3 T. cocoa
  • 1 T. vegetable oil
  • 1 T. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 T. milk
Combine all ingredients in a bowl until smooth and creamy then dig in!

Feel free to play with the ingredient quantities.  I prefer less powdered sugar to make my candy "bar" taste more like an 85% dark cocoa candy bar.  You can even toss it in the freezer for an hour to harden it and make it feel even more like the real thing.

Go ahead and treat yourself every other day.  It is sweet enough to curb your cravings while being chock full of antioxidants.  Yes, you read that right.  In moderation it's good for you, so enjoy!
