Our diet is an incredibly important part of our lives. It effects
everything from our physical health to our mental health to our
emotional health. Yet, it is the easiest part of our lives to neglect
or lose focus on, especially when life gets crazy. We turn to
convenience foods or forget to eat a balanced diet and try to fill in
the gaps with supplements, like pills and shakes. But the truth is,
your body only absorbs fractions of those supplements compared to the
real thing so you are just cheating your body.
All this week, I
want to help you focus on your diet. I hope that you will notice a
boost in your energy and recognize how eating well and balanced can make
you feel happier overall. I will also offer cost-effective ways to eat
healthier. In my experience, healthier eating means a smaller grocery
bill.
The best way to focus on something is through a theme. By
creating themes for each day, it gives us one area to pay attention to,
making our focus sharper and clearer. Each day, we will focus on one
area of our diet, making sure to eat the right kinds of foods in the
correct quantities.
While drastically changing your diet takes a
lot of time and effort, I am hoping through focusing on one area of your
diet each day this week, it will help you fish out the gaps in your
eating habits and allow you to work on improving what you put into your
body in order to improve the rest of your life.
