Sweet and Scrambled Eggs

In case you haven't noticed, I have a major sweet tooth.  If I can add sugar to it, I will.  As odd as it may sound, that is exactly what I do with scrambled eggs.

If you have a sweet tooth like mine, or if you have a child who just refuses to eat their eggs, try this simple and quick recipe to add some fun to your scrambled eggs:

Sweet and Scrambled Eggs
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 t. sugar
  • 1/2 t. cinnamon
  • Splash of milk
Beat all ingredients together until well mixed.  Cook as you would regular scrambled eggs.  Drizzle with syrup or honey and serve!
These eggs taste great as a side dish to pancakes or french toast and are sure to get your child that much needed protein and iron without the hassle.  Some days I will even serve it by itself as a healthy snack.

Do you have a yummy recipe you would like to share on TheNorthForty?  If so, please check out my Guest Posting Policy and send submissions to tykesmom@the-north-forty.com.
