Couch Cushion Treasure Hunt

The other day I thoroughly cleaned my couch. I removed the cushions, vacuumed underneath them, washed the cushion covers and spot cleaned the rest of the fabric.

Though doing a thorough clean of a couch can be a long task, it is rewarding in so many ways. Particularly, the inevitable treasure hunt into which it turns. With children, you never know what you are going to find hidden within the couch cushions so it is always a fun surprise.

This time we found:

• A plastic knife
• A "Jennifer" magnet
• The letter "r"
• A tiny dinosaur
• Eight cents
• Two GeoTrax figures
• 1 raisin (sucked up by the vacuum)
• 15 oyster crackers (also in the vacuum)

Needless to say, my son was thrilled to have his GeoTrax team back together. And I was excited to have a clean and fresh couch.
