A One-Time Wear Mission

In the past I have always been guilty of spending far too much money on holiday outfits for my children. I want them to look their best, especially for their pictures with Santa. Now that I constantly strive to live a frugal lifestyle in every way that I can, I cringe at the prices of Christmas outfits that will only be worn once.

So this year my frugal side decided to start searching early. Even before Thanksgiving, I was looking through the children's clothes at every thrift store I set foot in. I was on a mission and it paid off.

This year my children will grace Santa's lap sporting the latest Goodwill fashions. I found my daughter the perfect dress for $5.00 and my son an adorable little suit for $9.00 (still with the brand new tags on it!). I even scored a matching pair of dress shoes for my son for $4.00. A grand total of $18.00! Now that is a price I can stomach for a one-time wear!
