Stop the Quarantine and Just Clean

I love to wash my floors regularly. With little ones always crawling around and playing, I feel good knowing they are playing on a sanitary surface.

But when I wash the floors with harsh chemicals, I feel like I need to quarantine the room for a couple of hours or risk having a child or animal walk across the harsh and dangerous chemicals. With three kids, two cats and two dogs, that makes washing floors a very inconvenient task.

That is why I switched to a green-friendly, frugal and kid-friendly cleaning method. Now I actually can enlist my children to help wash the floors instead of ban them from the room!

Green Floor Cleaner
  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 1/2 gallon hot water
For regular cleaning, mix them together in a bucket and mop or scrub any vinyl, tile, linoleum or laminate flooring.

If you need something for those tough jobs, add a 1/4 cup of Borax to your mixture.

Now you can clean your floors as often as you please without worrying about the safety of your pets, children or yourself!
