This recipe is wonderful because it is so simple (and, of course, cheap). The following recipe makes enough for my family to eat for two meals (so, about 6 to 8 servings).
Crock Pot Spaghetti
- 1 lb. hamburger, browned and drained (optional)
- 1 c. onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 2 t. garlic powder)
- 2 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes, un-drained
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 2 t. Italian Seasoning (oregano, basil, parsley)
- 1 c. mushrooms (canned or fresh)
- 1 c. chicken bouillon
- 1 (16 oz) package whole wheat spaghetti
An hour before serving, turn on high heat and stir in dry spaghetti. Once spaghetti is soft, serve.
