Prayers for an Angel

Recently, I learned that the precious baby girl of a friend of mine has been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia which has a 50-60% survival rate.  She is only an infant.  I have known this friend since I was a child and she is such a strong woman.  But even the strongest of us need prayers.

The little girl's name is Riker.  She has beautiful fair skin, adorable toes, fine hair, and the most angelic laugh.  She is such a lucky girl because she has a kind and amazing woman for a mother and I feel so blessed that I know her.

I would like to ask each of you to hold your little ones extra tight this evening and send some prayers out for this little girl, her mother, her father, and her two year old sister, all of whom have a long road ahead of them.  Thank you for keeping this family in your thoughts.
