How often do you cook those recipes found on product packaging? You
know the ones, on Campbell's soups, Quaker oatmeal, Gold Medal flour. I
use them all the time. Why? Because, they are always simple, cheap,
and 99% of the time I have every ingredient all ready in the house.
The down side is that I never write them down. I rely on the packaging. When the packaging changes, I lose the recipe.
That is when I discovered BackoftheBox.com.
It
is an entire website of recipes found on product packages from now to
years ago. There are recipes I remember my mother making when I was a
child. Appetizers, cookies, slow cooker recipes. You name it, its got
it.
Head on over, click around, and search for some favorites from
your past. The best part? You can get brand name package recipes and
still go out and buy the store brand.
What is your favorite back-of-the-box recipe?
