What Do We Eat? (Link-Up)

On this site, I frequently mention ways of saving money on groceries; from menu plans, Once-A-Month Cooking, shopping lists, recipes and other tips.  But, in my experience, when reading about other people's shopping habits, I wind up thinking "how do they turn this into actual meals and snacks?"

All this week, I would like to give you a glimpse into the standard eating habits of my family.  I will list everything we eat for snacks and meals (and even some bonus treats) for the entire week so you can see how I turn my recipes and tips into a week's worth of food for my family.  I will track everything we eat each day and put it on here the following day for you to see.

Granted, some of the items we eat or the quantities may not work for you and your family, but I hope that by seeing how I turn my frugal shopping into sustainable healthy foods, you will be able to pick up some ideas to help you cut costs as well.  We do not always eat perfect, but you should notice that we never skimp on the vegetables and whole grains that keep our tummies full and our hearts happy.

Let me know if you have any questions about how my family and I eat throughout the week in the comments section.
Also, please share how you eat!  Keep track of how you and your family eat for the day on your blog and link-up below.  Have standard menu plans and yummy recipes?  Feel free to share those too!  The link-up will be open all week long so link-up as many times as you would like.  I can’t wait to see how you eat!
